Everything opens October 1st.

The Problem

You tried the walk. You still wanted the food.

You made the tea. Drank the water. Put on a podcast.

Waited twenty minutes to see if the craving would pass.

Maybe it worked for a little while.

Then you found yourself back in the kitchen, still thinking about the thing you wanted before you tried so hard not to want it.

Because sometimes you’re not looking for another healthy dopamine hit.

Sometimes you need the day to stop asking things from you.

Sometimes you’re angry, but you were calm and agreeable through the whole conversation.

Sometimes food is the only part of the day that feels like it belongs entirely to you.

And sometimes you simply want dessert, but the fear that wanting it means you’re out of control turns one ordinary desire into a two-hour fight with yourself.

Dopamine may explain part of the feeling. It doesn’t explain the whole experience.

The walk may have been healthy. It was simply answering the wrong problem.

Past the Dopamine Fix is not a dopamine detox.

It won’t ask you to give up sugar, take cold showers, or replace dessert with ten squats.

It shows you how to uncover what the usual dopamine advice misses so you’re no longer trying to solve every urge with another distraction.

The Fix-to-Fulfillment Method™

FIX → FEEL → FULFILL

A Focused Course for Moving From Quick Relief to Real Satisfaction

Past the Dopamine Fix is not an AI-generated collection of craving tips repackaged as a course.

I developed the Fix-to-Fulfillment Method through twenty-five years as a Registered Dietitian, nearly two decades teaching and practicing yoga and mindfulness, my own fifteen-year experience with binge and emotional eating, and the patterns I’ve witnessed while working with more than 1500 women.

AI can give you another list of things to try instead of eating.

This course contains the method I created to explain why those things so often fail, and give you the right solution.

FIX

Understand why food becomes the answer your mind intensely reaches for in certain moments, even when you know you aren’t hungry and what to do next.

FEEL

Expose the missing piece about cravings that dopamine advice, distraction tools, and surface-level trigger work fail to account for.

FULFILL

Move beyond temporary relief so the same urge doesn’t keep sending you back to the kitchen looking for something else.

No food rules. No woo woo.

No list of twenty “better” things to do instead of eating.

Just a clearer way to understand yourself in the moment, and stay connected to yourself while you choose with clarity what to do next.

What’s Inside

Part 1

The Dopamine Half-Truth

Discover why knowing your brain wants dopamine hasn’t changed the behavior and what the strength of the urge is not telling you.

Part 2

What Are You Really Hungry For?

Uncover the overlooked reason food feels necessary in certain moments, even when you know you aren’t physically hungry.

Part 3

From Quick Relief to Real Satisfaction

Find out why healthy alternatives can leave you wanting the food just as much—and the missing distinction that changes what you do next.

Part 4

Stop Making Food Do the Whole Job

Understand why insight alone hasn’t changed the pattern and what has to happen for the same urge to stop carrying so much power.

A woman with long brown hair wearing large black sunglasses, a light-colored striped jacket, a white top, beige shorts, and brown platform sandals is eating ice cream from a small cup on a cobblestone street. Around her, there are people waiting in line outside a shop and walking by. Some are using their phones, and one woman near the entrance is wearing a red dress with spaghetti straps, holding a white bag.

This Is for You If…

You regularly want food when you’re not physically hungry and knowing that doesn’t change the compulsion to eat.

You keep it together all day, then go ham around food when you’re finally alone.

You can name your triggers, but you still can’t change the actual moment.

Food is your reward at the end of being good, productive, helpful, or responsible.

You’ve replaced food with scrolling, shopping, working, or another quick fix and still feel unsatisfied.

You want to enjoy food without monitoring yourself or fearing that one choice will become a spiral

You’re ready for a solution that goes beyond “get rid of the urge completely” hunger cues, and dopamine hacks.

A woman in a beige satin dress sits on a white couch, holding a mug, with a window behind her letting in natural light. The room features a black piano, colorful artwork on the wall, and a coffee table with magazines, books, and decorative items.

On a GLP-1 and the Food Noise Settled, But You Still Don’t Feel as Free as You Expected?

The medication may have changed your appetite, lowered the food noise, and made it easier to stop eating.

But if food was doing more than satisfying hunger, quieting the desire may not create the freedom you expected.

The optional GLP-1 companion lesson will show you what medication can change, what it cannot and how to use this quieter space without waiting anxiously for the food noise to return (included at purchase).

The Goal Isn’t to Become A Woman Who Never Emotionally Eats….

Smiling woman in a black top and long white skirt standing indoors near a potted plant, with a white brick wall and wooden slats in the background.

It’s to understand the difference between wanting something and needing it to make yourself feel OK.

So when the urge appears, you don’t immediately panic, distract yourself, or assume you’ve failed.

Because not every urge is asking for the same answer.

Sometimes you’re hungry.
Sometimes you simply want the food.
And sometimes food is being asked to do something much bigger than taste good.

Past the Dopamine Fix teaches you how to tell the difference without turning every craving into an investigation or another test of your self-control.

Sometimes you’ll eat it.

Sometimes you’ll choose something else.

The change is that you understand what you’re responding to and you don’t abandon yourself either way.

That’s how self-trust is built.

Not by always making the “right” choice, but by no longer fearing yourself while you make it.

ABOUT YOUR MENTOR

Hi, I’m Alana Kessler, MS, RDN — founder of The Sober Eating™ Movement and host of Emotional Eating Unwrapped.

I’m a registered dietitian, clinical nutritionist, yoga and mindfulness teacher, and recovering emotional overeater and dopamine chaser.

I spent 15 years caught in emotional eating, bulimia, and the exhausting belief that if I could finally control food and get my body right, I would feel secure inside myself.

I knew what to eat. That was never the real problem.

Food had become the place where I managed what I didn’t know how to express, received comfort I didn’t know how to ask for, and tried to create relief from a life I was constantly holding together.

For nearly two decades, my work has brought together nutrition, nervous-system regulation, mindfulness, identity, and the emotional patterns most food advice never touches.

Past the Dopamine Fix is the clearest, most focused way I know to help you understand what’s really happening in the moment without making food the enemy, or turning healing into another project.
